I was originally playing the red course but was told in the pro shop that the blue was currently plying the best. So naturally I agreed to play that. Not the best idea in the world as I drove by first straight down the fairway and into the water.
I repeated the same result on the lovely par 3 3rd and then drove another quite well just off the fairway and it disappeared in the mud. Fortunately no competition this time . The good thing was that the fairways were lovely and soft on my very tired feet .
The round improved thereafter , I hit some really wonderful irons on some really wonderful holes.

And got around without getting caught in the gorse.
Also had a lovely meal and watched the golf whilst quietly charging my battery in the corner.
off to Chester now for 3.nights. Tomorrow a day off.
